Magic Kingdom Train Station refurb Cover They've been refurbishing the whole train station at WDW/MK for many weeks now. Because of the size of the work and the main entrance placement of the station, it's quite a visual challenge for park arrivals. The station has sported various sets of tarp coverings and scaffolding in the last weeks, messing up lots of photo opportunities. On my visit yesterday I see that it's improved visually. The train station tarp covering now sports a full sized image of what the station looks like underneath. Cool. It's not the real train station, but it's a whole lot more appealing than viewing construction apparatus directly. Notice the detail. They've even included Walt's train station window in detail. And the clock is permanently at 2pm. And a detail that helps make it work is that the "Magic Kingdom" sign out front is the real sign. I know they're wanting this work to proceed and be done with as quickly as possible. The refurb is pretty extensive, and will be worth the wait.   Zooming in on Walt's window a little.
