The Worst viewing angles for Soarin' in World Showcase Soarin' doesn't present itself poorly everywhere around World Showcase lagoon. Certain areas are the worst. They are depicted in the map below. Norway and China aren't too bad. They mostly show Soarin' off to the side of Canada, but clearly behind it. Just further south the view is softened by the presence of the lagoon island. The trees help hide whats beyond. The worst is basically down by Italy. The full bulk of Soarin' appears behind and above Canada from here, and here are no trees between Canada and Soarin' behind to help hide. Any further past the American Adventure on the bottom and you get close enough to the west side for Soarin' to diminish behind Canada. On the west side of the Lagoon you're under the trees, and can't see Canada until you get right to it. Obviously, when you're right in front of Canada you can't see what's behind it.
