What it looks like outside Steve's Apartment For those of you who are putting up with bouts of S.A.D. in states where there is actually a winter -- here's what it looks outside my apartment window. I have my computer and work table set up in the living room so it looks out on this while I'm working. A WORLD of difference from my office at IBM where there were no windows at all anywhere nearby. And the ones that were there looked out on a cloudy, winter landscape for 6 months out of the year. (1) Looking out onto my small deckette from my living room. The deckette has screening from floor to ceiling, so I can leave the door open during the day. The screening keeps out the flying whatevers, but not the occasional adventureous gecko. I have zero deck furniture. Not even a lawnchair. But I DO have green and sunshine.     (2) This is the view right outside my window. The pool and the gazebo with the vending machines are right there.

(3) The apartment building on the other side of the pool. It pretty much looks like the building I'm in. (4) I couldn't pass this one up. This is the aparment complex office building and shared party space. It's outside my apartment and to the left.
